Lane Identity
Use your first two spells to secure trades, protect important creeps, and make the enemy lane choose between farm and health.
Ogre Magi is a durable support who can trade early, protect cores, and stay useful with low farm. His strength is making simple plays hard to punish.

Move when your wave is pushed and your first item timing is ready. The goal is not random fighting; it is turning pressure into map control.
Play around vision and cooldowns. Late fights are won by choosing the right target and preserving enough resources for the second spell cycle.
These four abilities define the hero's lane plan, fight timing, and target priority.

Reliable stun for trades, ganks, and interrupting channels.

Strong slow and harassment tool when enemies lack sustain.

Buffs carries, tower pushes, and chase sequences.

Adds scaling randomness; build items that become powerful when multicast triggers.
Buy for the problem in front of you: farm speed, target access, survival, or teamfight utility.

Mana for repeated spells and lane support.

Save tool and positioning fix.

Protects allies and lets you walk into vision more safely.

Improves stun reach.

Adds extra utility when fights are frequent.

A luxury control item that scales with multicast.
The hero rewards simplicity. More complex supports have higher ceilings but lower floors. Ogre has a high floor.
Bloodlust is Ogre Magi's strongest spell past 15 minutes. A Bloodlusted carry attacks 40% faster — that is a free hyperstone. Cast it on your carry before every fight and on your tower-pusher during objectives. The mistake most Ogres make is hoarding mana for Fireblast combos. At 25 minutes, a Fireblast does 300 damage. A Bloodlust that lets your Juggernaut deal 800 more damage in a fight is worth more.
Multicast has a 25/40/50% chance for 2x/3x/4x at level 1/2/3 ultimate. The practical takeaway: your level 6 power spike is real. If you hit 6 before the enemy offlaner, walk mid or offlane and throw a Fireblast. Even a 2x multicast (60% chance) is enough to kill a half-HP core. Do not sit in lane after 6 — go make something happen.
